Thanks for those shots irishman. I should be passing through that area 10 days from now and am so looking forward to the scenery of the SW. Since you suggested the area in answer to one of my posts it is now on my list.

you've got to stop here for sure. I heard an incredible statistic---56,000 people per year visit Chiricahua NM, or about as many people who visit the Grand Canyon in a week! It's a great place but difficult to photograph. You can see all of my shots here:

Looks like a cool place. I had not heard of it until seeing your post. I like the color contrast in the first two shots.
