Can anyone tell me how many iterations of bracketing this new camera will do?
3, 5, 7 is what I heard.

Some... themadman wrote in post #14009020 1. If I prefer Canon lenses Agreed, but that's in favor of the system not the camera. themadman wrote in post #14009020 2. If I prefer the 61 point af with 41 cross types over the Nikon's 51 af points with only 15 cross types So do I and I am looking forward to using it in my 1Dx. I don't, however, feel that there will be any real world difference between the two pro-level AF systems. themadman wrote in post #14009020 3. If I prefer the increase shooting speed As would I which is why I list that as one of the few Canon advantages. themadman wrote in post #14009020 It isn't a clear victory for the D800E. IMO it's pretty definitive in this particular race. Lop $500-$700 from the 5D3 price and you've got a contest. Gear List

People who "hate" it and/or don't want to buy it, not enough MP and too expensive. the more megapixel people are hard to satisfy !

I can't believe all the BS being talked...and no one has yet actually used it! A bunch of jpegs by god-knows-who and no personal experience with raw? Spare me! I agree. I have to give Canon credit for something. The AF is improved on paper but, my biggest concern is low ISO performance. Will the banding still be there? Idk.
