I didn't even preorder and my ups email said its scheduled to deliver on the 26th. I just bought it today from Abe's of Maine. Canon knows everyone and their grandma has been waiting on this camera. I think they would have been shooting themselves in the foot if they didn't stock up for release date. I probably would've said screw it, and keep my 7d if I knew I had to wait several months for one. Ever changing.
