A variety of winter landscape shots from Iceland taken last year. Despite the difficult driving conditions, the scenery was pretty special.

I am incredibly jealous of you being there in winter, BUT I will get to visit my favourite country again this summer. What time of the year was it? How much useable (for photography) light did you have per day at this time of year? The trip was almost a year ago. If I remember correctly we had light 9-5, the light was good most of the time although as you probably know the weather changes so frequently during the day and not too predictable. Would have loved to see Landmannalaugar but most of the roads to the interior where closed. Biker010 wrote in post #14007329 Wow, their all great but I've always wanted to see the aurora in 2. Just out of curiosity what's the exif for that shot, I live fairly close and might get a chance to take this one day. It'd be nice to have a starting point. Thanks! Various gear
