What do you guys think?
sapearl Cream of the Crop More info | Mar 02, 2012 22:46 | #2 It's an interesting concept Mike and nice experiment with a pleasing composition. The lighting looks a little flat and I feel perhaps some side illumination would give it a little more contrast and texture. Shadows would actually give it a bit more depth and dimension. GEAR LIST

Mar 04, 2012 14:51 | #6 I used an alien bee 800 with a soft box attached. It was in the upper right corner of my lens about a foot away level with the lens. I dont remember the setting off hand. I used a plate of glass elevated about 10 inches from a green tupperware lid. Used a 100mm L macro lens and shot straight down. I changed the color in PSE, didn't like the original green. SAPEARL, I do understand where your coming from and should have had more shadowing. One other thing, used some rain x on the glass to get the bubbles. I seen this in the setup post. They used skittles in there first attempt and it turned out pretty cool so I thought I'd build upon it and use solid colors. Thanks for the input! It's always good to get feedback.
