5DIII delivery timing

Anyone have any idea when preordered 5DIII's would start shipping?

End of March or early April I think...

it means if you wanted one, your order had already be in.

I think it I'll also depend on who your pre-order is with. I imagine larger stores such as B&H will get larger quantities than say your local camera store. I managed to get my pre-order in with B&H about an hour or so after the launch event was over. About 20 minutes after I placed my order I received the mass email from B&H so at least I'm ahead of those folks but I figure some time in April... gonna be a loooong wait

What mass email did you get? I pre-ordered about 15 minutes after midnight EST (didn't see it up for preorder before that). Just curious. Would hope that's early enough to get it end of March but as long as I get it before my string of weddings kick off in early May, I'll be happy...

'It's hard to justify where is a good place to pre-order from B&H, Adorama, Amazon, Best Buy and I've been considering local shops here, Honolulu. I know that B&H, Adorama, and Amazon will have tons of pre-orders to meet that's why I'm thinking of any alternate options. But then again, I called local shops here and they have alot of pre-orders to meet also. I would love to use it by April 28 because I have an event to cover that day.

Any opinions?'

I made my reservation @ Calumet Holland. Im one of the fist but not THE first Lets hope they get more then 3 bodies with the first batch

March 22th according to canonrumors

When I was in on Friday picking up a new lens, the guys at the store told me
they were expecting theirs on March 19. I'm sure Canon Canada is getting their
stock at the same time as Canon US. So it doesn't sound like it's going to be a
long wait. Just an expensive one
