Great shot Gary, did he get the fish swallowed?

Excellant GBH! I have not accomplished that yet this year. Well done.

Was he wading in your neighbors goldfish pond? :) Even his eyes seem wider Gary, by his look of amazement, he might think this is a "bonanza." Great shot....

Oh my, was it a man-made private pond? If yes, the owner won't be too please. Otherwise, WHAT WAS THE GOLD FISH DOING IN THERE? LOL
Glad you were there to capture the moment, Gary! Excellent work again. :)

Way to go, Gary. You had to remind me of the disastrous results of my koi pond in the back yard. Those tropical fish are expensive bird food.

There is a drainage pond in the middle of a parking lot close to me that is stocked with large goldfish and there is a GBH that is a regular there. Most of the fish are too big for him but once in a while he snags a smaller one. Great catch.

These were my thoughts exactly.

I really hope it was in a pond and not an invasive species. Not that I wish any ill will onto a pond owner, but the last thing the world needs is another invasive species.
