Got some hiking and photographing in today before the rain came. Here are a few shots of the waterfalls in Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio. C&C appreciated.

Very pretty shots. Visited that area in 2010 and loved it, great hiking.

Thank you! I agree, the park has some of the best hiking in the entire state. So many waterfalls and impressive rock features all within a few miles. It's far too busy on summer weekends, but during the week it's very peaceful.

By any standard these are fine shots, however, looking at them I'm wanting to see you get closer, lower, and wider to get some background with the shot. Can you get in the water? If so, get some waders and give that a shot.

That's a beautiful place, and you've nailed the just-right exposure for the water. Another pretty place to go see!

Beautiful pictures. Haven't been down to Hocking Hills in several years. Definitely need to get back. Thanks for making me remember what I've been missing.

Great feedback! Thank you! Only after you mentioned this did I realize I only posted photos from angles and generally high angles. I do have several from lower and in front, but nothing as close as you mention. I just might have to wade in come warmer weather and water temps and see what I can get. ;)

Yes, one of the nicest parks, if not the nicest in Ohio! Avoid weekends in the summer, though, since it's a serious tourist attraction and gets very crowded. Waterfall photos on one of those days would include several people and a few dogs.
