So last year I shot a charity talent concert - some of the images turned out pretty crap. I had a few good ones but nothing to brilliant as far as sharp in focus images are concerned..
So today Im shooting the 2012 version of the talent show, and I have some new lenses....
I plan on taking....
5DMk 2 (obviously")
Canon 35mm 1.4 (because Iv been asked to shoot some backstage stuff)
Canon 70-200 2.8is
Canon 135mm 2.0
maybe a 1.4 teleconverter (simply because It will fit in my pocket)
I also own a Sigma 50mm and 85mm - And these are the two lenses I shot most of last years talent show with...and maybe these are part of my problem with there slow AF speed in low light.
So anyway.. I'm aiming to shoot at shutter speeds of around 1/150-1/200 so I plan to use TV (normally I use AV) maybe even use auto Iso (never used that before). I'm also wondering is I would benefit from using AF Servo over AFOne Shot?
Any tips and advice would be appreciated...I only ever shoot things like this once or twice a year so I never really get any better at it unfortunately - hence me asking for any advice you guys might have!
