I have read a few of the topics on this lens which I am now thinking of getting. It is, according to the general consensus, an excellent lens.

What I am wondering is what is it like at the 85mm length for portraiture? can anyone post a couple of examples as I want this as my walk around lens but 85 mm seems appropriate for portraiture also (I realise I'll need flash).

Advice and examples please.

Very nice. Pretty good bokeh for the aperture too. Thank you.

Wide open at 85mm. Exif data should be intact.
