kenjancef Goldmember More info | I work for a company that shoots road races like 5k's, marathons, etc., and they want us to shoot burst, but in the "low speed" mode. I have a 1D4 and a 7D, and I have them set to low, so I would assume the 5D3 would be fine, at least for what I do. I just can't justify the price and features. I am fine with what I have..

You have to define the "NEED" part. If you want to try to capture as many players as possible in a single play, 6fps is just OK. Depending on what sorts of sport leagues.
