I have not had a chance to shoot in a long time and have been working on computer design and such. I had a family shoot the other day and thought that I would share a few images.

I will spare you all the usual stuff and show you just the ones I had fun with.
Also as a side note I did not pick the clothing and this is not a political message from me.

First they asked to have their dog in some of the shots, she was pretty well behaved and I did a few of her with each of the kids.

Like this one

But dogs like kids are unpredictable and the dog closed his eyes on this shot

So I took a head from another shot and put it on him in this shot. I also added the rest of his foot and cleaned the shot up. It was a bit of work but in the end I think worth it.

Some other shots from the shoot that I liked. I shot them all on white and colored them in photoshop for some to add interest. Like this one.

And this one where I took off the Ron Paul logo and changed the shirt and background for visual interest (by the way this one was totally unplanned he came in wearing this hat and asked to have his picture taken while I was trying to do shots of mom and dad.)

And lastly a few of the baby of the family

It looks like you added the reflections in PP. I'm not a big fan of that technique. For me it ranks up there with fake bokeh lol.

The first and the last photos have the best lighting. The others in between seem to have the subject underexposed to where the background overpowers them.

Roman T thanks for your comment I appreciate it.

Rexbobcat- I appreciate your honesty Yes the reflection was added in post and I too have mixed feeling about it but thought I would see what the client thought I have kept a copy of all the photos without it as well just in case they prefer the original better. I was having trouble with the strobes and that is why the mixed up lighting in these. When all the strobes were firing correctly the lighting was good but I kept having issues with my remote triggers and sometimes one or more strobe would not fire correctly so I tried my best to salvage it in post. again I appreciate the honest feedback

butcherman-thanks
