Thought I'd try out a few new toys today. A Canon 100mm Macro, a Yongnuo RF-602/C Wireless Trigger with a Yongnuo LS-02/C3 shutter cord and a Bower wired remote shutter release. I bought these specifically for shooting macro.
The problem is sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. I manual focus and shoot, then go for another shot and nothing listed above works including the cameras shutter button. Even if I set it to AF it doesn't make a difference.
I've double checked cords being plugged in all the way and all's good, so why so does it seem so unreliable? Three different systems, (1) wireless Yongnuo, (2) wired Bower cable and (3) my 7D all the same problem. Granted I'm new to the 7D, so it's probably me. What am I doing wrong?
BTW, I'm using available light as it is plenty sunny here and the shots I did get off were pretty dead on, exposure-wise.
