Yes, you'll find very few complaints here about bodies from the Canon refurb store. It does happen, but it's rare. Wonder if the new ones have come back into the CPL program.

You know with the CLP you take 20% off the refurb price. For me it is ~$1491 with 6% tax included. Its only about $340 more than a refurb 7D.

It's going to drop further with some patience.

It was dropped long ago.

How does one go about getting into the CLP program?

When I got mine they said it was out of stock but nothing about it not in the program. And now that it is in stock i assume its in stock with CLP

You'd have to call them. Give them a ring tomorrow (I'll be on a plane) and let us know. They're very nice people on the phone.

I called Canon this morning: The 5Dmk2 is not part of the loyalty program

I'm sure it'll make its way back on to the CLP program soon now. Still, that is an awesome refurb price!

I think it will too, as they get closer to wanting to clear inventory they'll do what it takes to get it out the door.

They charge tax and shipping. Total $ 1899.45 And how many will they have????

I'm glad to see the price drops, my local Craigslist sellers are wanting over $2000 for used markii's. It may hurt their pockets, but if they don't get em sold soon, their gonna have to drop down to around $1650.
