I heard it on the radio a couple of hours ago.

Elementary school massacre: 27 dead, including 20 kids, in Connecticut (external link)

My heart goes out to all the families involved.

:( Why is this kind of shooting so rampant in the US?:(

Yep, it's been talked about almost all over. Kawawa mga bata, inosente wala nmn silang kamalay-malay. Imagine how those families will have to spend the rest of their holiday season. It's really sad.

Breaks the heart of all humanity. Really really sad. May the soul of those babies and the people killed rest in peace.

Definitely one of the saddest day in USA. My heart goes out to the victims and to the family.

When I heard the news this morning I feel like driving to my kids school to give them a hug.

Good morning fellas. On a lighter note. copy & paste this on google search and be amazed.
5 + (- sqrt(1- x^2- (y- abs(x))^2))cos(30((1-x^2-(y-abs(x))^2))), x is from -1 to 1, y is from -1 to 1.5, z is from 1 to 5

I'll be doing a lot of lurking from now on. No more work until Jan 2013 !!!

sorry about that. I did it from my iPad so I may have not copied the entire link. Just the same you are right about the price. maybe when I have enough money I'll replace my old one. Do you if the Manfrotto 323 RC2 quick release is as bad as people say? They say the locking mechanism sometimes fails for no reason.

also my pinoy co-worker was asking me about Nikon D3200. I said I don't if it's good or bad but it seems like a good one. 24MP even the 7D does not have that large, but the 7d has 19 AF compare to 11. Then again apples & oranges ;) In the end I just told him to look what his entire family members has and go with that brand

Peter & Jo,

does it bother you guys that the 7D does not have continuous AF while on video? Not that I will be doing much video on my future 7D anyways

may i answer this? even if the 650D has continuous focus for video, you still need the compatible STM lens just to maximize the usage of autofocus in video. without the STM lens (Canon has only 2 for now, the 28-235 and 40mm pancake) you will still be forced to use manual focus. so i think if you're going for the 7D, you're not losing too much on the video end.

Nassau Harbor light house
probably one of the most photographed small light houses in the Caribbean. Those two large ships cannot enter the harbor because of their size and passengers had to use tenders.

Downtown Miami- Freedom Tower, modeled after the 12th century, Moor built Giralda tower in Sevilla, Spain. the Miami structure looks nice, but does not compare well with the more ornate Original Giralda tower.
