3 DOGS: photo shoot for my friend

I shot my friend's 3 dogs today... these dogs have much more energy than mine; I had a difficult time with my compositions. As soon as I got a composition that I liked they would move. I need to practice my shooting speed. I missed focus on at least 3 golden shots.

ASIDE FROM THE FOCUS ISSUES (I microadjusted my lenses too much) I would love to hear C&C on these. I am thinking about shooting more pets... and eventually charging money!

Sooooo... if I am doing photo shoots of peoples pets I guess my job is to capture their personality? I don't think I did that very well except for the one of Rosey running towards me.
I have also heard people say you are supposed to capture any details that make them distinct from others in their breed. For example, here is my dog's butt-swirls:
