Got this shot of a Juvi at the Landfill today. It was snowing heavily and thought it would add a bit of texture to the image. What do you think? Critique welcomed.
thanks for having a look!

That is a great image! The snow really adds to it as well. Would make a great wall hanging!

Great shot !
If youu seperate subject and background into layers then subdue the background ...
you can really make it pop !

Well I would really need to learn how to do that first :) Still a rookie at PS. But I get what you mean. Gonna have to play around with that.

I'm sure that first one would look great on your wall.

I'll tell ya, you guys/girls w/landfill Eagles are so lucky.....I just wish I had a landfill to go check! :)
It is a striking image stick and I do think the snow adds the texture you're looking for. I also have to say that to my eye the bird is a tad underexposed. So when you look into doing what EL_PIC suggested, which will dramatize for sure, I suggest you also brighten the main subject a little too. I think you'll be pleased w/the combination and it will end up on a wall somewhere. Nice work!

Thanks all for the great comments and the awesome suggestions. Love this community for that. Once I have done a bit more tweaking I will re-post for comparison.

That first shot is super. A friend of mine was a Navy carrier pilot and the posture of the eagle reminds me of how he described landing on a pitching, storm tossed deck at night.
