very interesting. does the 5DII shoot at 12800 normally or is that like overclocking the ISO? Pardon my lack of terms haha

The 5DIII is so clean at that ISO that's pretty impressive stuff.

Looks like the 5D III has some type of automatic denoiser in effect, check out the sharpness of the logo on that windmill, much softer in the 5D III screen grab than the 5D II. So you may still have the same look in post if you applied a denoiser to the 5D II's footage, less noise but with less sharpness.
