For any auto, simple repair instructions.

If it doesn't move, and it should, use WD40.
If it moves and it shouldn't, use duct (duck) tape.

Jaymz, how you doing? question Nissan Pathfinder '05 4.0 engine, do the valves on that engine need adjustment? i have 107k miles on it. just dont know if its self adjusting valves. thanks.

There is no specified time/miles for checking or adjusting those valves according my repair info. They use different size valve lifters to adjust lash. Typically in that system they almost never need adjusted unless something has failed.

When my '97 RAV4 hit 100K at 7 years the dealer recommended changing the timing belt and the water pump plus replace all the filters and flush/replace all the fluids: oil, transmission, radiator, differential,etc. Cost me ~$1000. I drove it for another trouble free 60K miles and then traded up for a Highlander Hybrid :-) To me it was money well spent!

Per alldata:
Inspect vehicle such as wipers, belt, lights, tires, brakes, exhaust system, battery, charging system, etc etc
Replace Coolant, Engine Oil & Filter
Reset Maintenance Required Lamp/Indicator
