Has anybody used the CowboyStudio Meike LCD Viewfinder? If so how is it? Im looking for a cheap but decent LCD viewfinder.. Might even try one of the DIY versions.

I purchased a eyepiece extender and simply screwed the two together after drilling a small pilot hole and using some small screws from an old computer.

Slips on and off with no sticky frame mess nor magnets around my magnetic media.

Get magic lantern if you don't already and I bet you spend a heck of lot more time using live view

If you see me with a wrench - call 911. 5d3, T3i, 17-55 2.8, 50 1.8, 70-200 2.8 L II, 24-105 f4. YN 565, Precision Lupe attached to hacked extended eyecup (no sticky frame) - old enough to have owned an original F-1

I use a Hoodman Loup to enable me to view my LCD in bright light. I believe it is just about the same (but a bit more expensive) as the CowboyStudio Meike LCD Viewfinder. It converts the LCD to an eye level viewfinder...

BTW: I secure it with a couple of heavy duty rubber bands...

Im trying to stay in the $50 range.... any suggestions for ones around that price would be nice. If not, then ill probably make one of the DIY versions.
