I just really hate Best Buy more then any other BM store to be honest.

Understood. I completely know the feeling. For me it's walmart. I really hate that place. Havent shopped there in years.

I got mine three months ago for $399, free shipping, from B&H. With the new 580EXIII coming out, I would expect that prices for the EXII will soon be well below $400.

Replacing my Canon 7D, Tokina 12-24mm, Canon 17-55mm, Sigma 30mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.4, and 150-500mm with a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000. I still have the 17-55 and the 30 available for sale.

Often I find Amazon beats B&H and Adorama on price and return policy. Not always...but often. Economically it'd be best to buy from Amazon at the lower price. If you have a card with a competitive rate which often you can negotiate it's a good way to go. Also, some cards will cover the purchase with a "double the manufacturers warranty".
A little homework will get you what you want without an economic hernia!

I never had any issue with Amazon's return policy. I never tried to return anything to BH/Adorama. But I as far as I now, you have to speak to an actual human being when returning/exchanging with them. F'that I rather just click buttons online, which is one of the two reason reasons I always go to amazon first (prime beign the second), if it isnt available, I wait till it comes back in stock, or if I need really soon or the price difference is over 3%, I buy from BH/Adorama...
