Admittedly, this shot is more about the venue than the band. The venue is St. Mary's Church in Indian River PEI. St. Mary's is a decommissioned RC church which is has been home to The Indian River Festival, which is entering its 20th season. The band is the Barra MacNeils, a Celtic group from Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia. The church has amazing acoustics, amazing that is for un-amplified performances. The Barra MacNeils' sound man said it was a real challenge for him with all the echoing and reverb.
