How bad of a deal?

Didn't know where to post this so I posted here! I went to my local camera store today and looked at the 5d mk2 and TSE 17mm. Total price was $4700 w/o taxes. Here's what I'm thinking about trading in and what they were gonna give me:
60D $450 (bought about 8 months ago, around 2000 shots)
Tamron 10-24 $200 (bought a year ago)
35L mm $800 (bought 5 months ago and I'd say it has about 200 pics taken)

So, to get what I want, I'd pay $3250 plus tax to get my setup. I want to trade my 35mm in because I ended up buying the 24-70L and since having that, I haven't put my 35L on my camera. I thought about selling some stuff on here or ebay but 1. I've never done that so I have no selling history and 2. It saves the hassle of shipping the product and worrying about it getting damage. Anyways, would like to get some feedback as to wether this is a good deal or not. 95% of my work is real estate photography.

What's the TSE worth? After work today I'll be picking up a lightly used 5d2 for $1500. I had several locally to pick from at that price.

Edit: Amazon is selling the TSE for around $2300. Doesn't seem like you're getting that great of a price.

Anytime you trade stuff in, you're only getting wholesale prices on what you are trading.

I'd spend the time to try and sell everything first. You'll come out ahead. I don't worry about things getting damaged during shipping - I just buy appropriate insurance just in case.

I'm expecting to get around $550 when I put my 50D up for sale, so you're 60D should go for more than that.

I've traded in once with Adorama. I fully realized I'd only get a wholesale price, but I had tried unsucessfully to sell the item first and got to a point where I just wanted to move on. Unless you're at that point, it's worth it to sell it yourself.

Look through closed threads on the for sale section to see what things are going for. I am sure you can unload all that stuff fairly easy here, especially that 35L and 60D.

I got $350 trade on my T1i (500d) when I bought my 60D, so $450 for the 60D sounds really light. The rest I can't really make a comparison, but I think they are low-balling you pretty badly.

It's like others have said: it's a fair deal when you consider the shop has to make money on the equipment. If you don't want to do the work selling, take the money and run. However, add some money to the prices here and there, make sure to offer as many photos of/with the equipment as anyone asks, and I'm sure you can find some takers on the forum. You'll end up with more cash to throw at the upgrade, and won't feel taken advantage of later (if you're prone to that).

The camera store is charging $2400 for the lens. That seems to be what I've found on the web. Thanks everyone for the advice, I will do some more thinking about selling the stuff on mine own. To the people who might sound interested, I'll send you a PM if I decide to sell here.
