this may sound really trivial, but for those of you who use the Frio, how do you get your flash head to sit on it square/straight ahead? When I screw mine onto my Manfrotto umbrella bracket, it screws on crooked once tightened and I don't see any work arounds to getting it straight.

What equipment are you using? Your Manfrotto bracket doesn't have a swivel adapter?

Sounds like it was made wrong. Mine fits flat on anything I use it on.

Using the manfrotto umbrella bracket with the included spigot. The Frio will screw on flush, but if I install the spigot properly, so the hole in the middle allows the tightening screw to pass through it, it doesn't sit straight, but rather at an angle.

Don't let the screw go thru the hole. Tighten it against the side of the spigot.
