Hi Guys.

Just wanted to ask what you think about having deposit statement on your wedding photography website. Sometimes I think that maybe some people may not fill very secure when they visit, for example, my website and see that I require non refundable deposit.... is it good idea to have it stated on your site or is better to let them know once they contacted me.

Thanks.

Once they contact you. All wedding clients know they gotta give a deposit.

I don't put my prices on my site, but if I did, I probably wouldn't include information about the deposit there. I bring up the deposit when I set an appointment with them to get together.

My website doesn't have prices nor does it include the deposit information. I plan on putting a "starting at $$$" to discourage price shoppers and to give brides the immediate information they need. When my clients are ready to book, I let them know the deposit requirements. They're usually expecting to pay something anyways.
