Shutter Cables Click a compatible camera model above to see compatible shutter cable. The shutter cable is not required for general operation and is optional. It looks like there are some advantages to using the shutter cable instead of the USB port. "This accessory is a must have for the controller. Gives much better control of the camera. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend"
