I'm switching to the D800. Cost of me switching over isn't as bad as i thought it would be. Besides, i just need three primes and i'm good :).

I'll just keep my 5D2 and go for the 1Dx.

Why the decision to switch?

Why the decision to switch?

I want the megapixels and IQ really. My computer system is up to par i'm not that concern about space. I don't spray and pray but i do mostly portraiture and still life shooting so i feel like it would be the best move for me. Also from time to time i do shoot high ISO and i just feel like the 5DIII isn't what i expected it to be.

Just feel like it'll be a better choice for me to switch.

Ironically, the first DSLR i ever wanted was a Nikon D90 but i went for a Canon 60D because i was into cinematography. moved from that to a 5Dc then to a 5DII and while i loved my 5DII, the banding issues and noise i got at higher iso was a bit of a pain.

I have a 40d and a few lenses. Getting new Canon 5D Mark III since 1D X is too rich for my blood and serves me no purpose.

I want to guest blog on your Landscape / Travel photography blog, PM for details
