My local Retriever club had a training day and asked me to bring my camera as well as my lab.

Snapped a couple pics and figured I would share. Been a while since I've posted anything.

you should! there's a lot of females that don't hunt their dogs, rather just compete as a hobby.

all u have to do is register your lab with UKC, and get to training.

Google retriever clubs for your area and see what comes up. I know there's a bunch in SC.

edit- found these for you to get started.

Nice- it's great to see labs that are in good shape, with a visible waist. Very athletic!

Yessir. It's so fun to watch the hard work and dedication pay off in the end!

Any chance you're going to be at the Midlands HRC test next weekend? I normally do our photos but I'll be tied up at headquarters. We'd love for you to bring the camera along if you're going to be there!

Hey Elaine! I didn't get to make it, I had a wedding party to go to! But I plan to make some soon so I can get some ribbons on Coco and I will Def bring my camera! I'll introduce myself the next time I see someone shooting.

Love the second shot with the cartridge falling and the smoke from the gun! Do a bit of gundog training with one of my Spanish Water Dogs.
