Son of a biscuit...I must have searched a dozen different things trying to find something. Now I feel dumb.

Apparently I didn't search for "UP 6317,accident".

Oh well, my son and I go up there every Saturday to see the engine. He loves it so it's lots of fun for both of us.

Surprised they haven't hauled it off to the shop yet. They'll probably do some cosmetics and lease it to NS. :lol: Neat find.

All I did was plug "UP 6317" into Google and that's what I found.

It appears as though some repairs have already been made to the front of the locomotive. There are new ladders there for the crew to use in getting on and off, although the original steps would be better and safer.
