I see you tried to fix it. Make sure there's no space between the link and the tags.

Liza the long defensive shots are 10D 80- 200 2.8 L. The short stuff is 28 75 Tamron or 50mm 1.8 on the 1D Mk1

Thanks,
Bryan

Glad you got the little Tamron zoom to play nice for you for sports. I find with mine, while I do get some good shots, the keeper rate is a lot lower then with my Sigma and Canon lenses which seem to focus better in low light. But perhaps I need to try some more before I go out and upgrade my lens... could have just been me. Nice results with the Mk1 too, I have been thinking of picking one up. I just really don't want to have to use noiseware if I can avoid it.

Again, nice shots.....

I find the same thing with the Tamron Just not alot of keepers at 2.8. I rented a 24 70 L and it was not that much better. The problem may be a combo of lite and me. I think limited ambient shooting takes real technique, I may not have yet.

As for as the MK1 goes for me it was a cost isue. Could not go the 3000 for the II, bur reakky wanted the feel and focus of the 1 series. There are times when I need to crop I wish I had the 20D. That said I rediscoverd the 10D and it's crop factor and now use both cameras to each of thier advantages.

Nice work. You got some great shots. Excellent angles. I like the 1D a lot. I use a 70-200 for basketball and even the sigma 120-300 2.8. I's like to try the 135 f2. I don't knownhow much of a differnce it would make.

Dan,
I here some amazing things about the 135 F2. At 800$ used it's out of range while saving for a MK2. I have a 50 1.4 coming from a FM B/S purchase, can't wait to try it out for college hoops.
