Awesome EIF series Mark, you have the exposure dialed-in and the right shutter speed. Very nicely done!

These are with the 50D, which was considerably sharper than the 7D's I tried with the 300 and 1.4x. It looks like I missed the eagles this year while my 7D was getting sorted. I honestly don't know if it could pull these off at this point. It can do dogs sprinting, though. :) I'll be heading out to Starved Rock (the apex of the outdoors in northern Illinois lololol) and hopefully I can get a baldy in the crosshairs.
