I may not be fat, but now that I have started working after 2 and a half years of unemployment, I feel much better, and I'm starting to get back into shape. Build my muscle back up.

Chet showed up to keep the place interesting More info | Jul 12, 2012 20:42 | #296 My trainer keeps telling me to bump up my calories to like 2k per day. To maintain my current weight of 250 the cacls say to take in 2250 calories. For an individual weighing 165 the calorie intake for my age, weight, height is about 1650. So I've been aiming for about 1700 or 1800 a day. I also do cardio and personal training with weights. I figure 1700 calories is fine, sure on workout days that means I'm only taking in about 1300, but that should be ok. At least in my head it sounds right. The numbers come in at about 2-3 pounds per week for weight loss. (Still trying to see these numbers of course.)

(Plus the last three days have been heavy thundershowers and lightning, and I'm not walking a 90-foot tall bridge when bolts are dropping!)
