There were literally hundred + of these little birds in two trees behind my house. First time I have seen them that I can recall.

Cedar Waxwings, to be sure, as opposed to Bohemian Waxwings. And you got some great shots of them.

Thanks. I was surprised to see so many in one location. Apparently that is normal behavior. Looks like they migrate to here during the winter months.

Pretty shots of the Cedar Waxwings... When they are in flocks, they are either cleaning off fruit and berry trees or insects on leaves or blossoms... they are here in my area all year and also in the far northern states. Their winter range is pretty much in all the states.

They came through my town for a day or 2 a month ago.
I was lucky enough to get to where they were. They are very beautiful.
And they flock like crazy.
