Mar 10, 2012 15:50 | #6 it takes time. I was shooting a minor league team here in Long Beach and I look at my first season stuff and its just bad. But it takes time. You learn something with every click. It takes time. Sports are also one of those things where the shot itself can be less than stellar because its capturing a moment that will never come again. Check your the "Picture Style" settings in your camera. Make sure it's on Standard, and increase your Sharpness. I was having issues with soft images with my camera, and adjusted these settings, and it did the trick. You can also do a hard boot on your camera. This requires you to remove your main battery, as well as the small battery that for the clock. This will reset all the camera settings. Your ISO was too high in daylight causing you noise.
