Hi there,

I have a Canon 50D and I use Canon`s DPP for processing.Recently I have bought a Canon 5D, installed the software, but all my RAW files from 50D cannot be open now.Only the ones taken with 5D.And also the DPP version for 5D is an old one.I tried to re-install 50D software but I have the same result(as from 5D).What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks in advance.
Dan

Your 50D DPP/software should work fine with your 5D, as far as processing Raw files. The 5D has some issues with connecting/tethered shooting with some newer OSs, but processing Raw file should work just fine. So something must be amiss with your latest installation.

You should upgrade from the Canon site. Here's the US site:

Go to a current EOS camera and to the software for your OS.
