Very hungry Grey heron caught in action.

I normally only shoot cars, but i shot this recently.
Apparently i haven't paid a lot of attention at biology class since i didn't new they did this.

excellent series, thats a mouth full for sure, Well done! I notice the rat was wet before he ate it, did he drown it to stop it's moving?

That's great. Never seen it either.
Is that a great blue heron? You said its a grey.
I don't know the differences.

Talk about being in the right place at the right time. I guess protein is protein whether is comes w/fins or fur. That heron could probably find a snack in my back yard as well - :)
You did an excellent job of capturing all that, including the drink of water to top it off. Bravo!
