The wife and I stopped at Tenaya Lake in Yosemite to have a picnic and shoot. The area was full of German tourists and sunbathers. Respectfully, I asked the tourists if they would refrain from splashing in the water for a couple of minutes. This drew their interest to what I was doing and they came over to have a peek in the camera. Voila. I got my shot, they got their peek and everything resumed the way it was. Comments always appreciated and respected.

Have plenty of Canons, enough ammo, enough to blow 'em to "L". Now, I just have to learn to aim.

I really like that shot, the colours and the composition.

I like it, but the sky looks over processed...almost CGI-like. Did you PP it much?

Thank you for your comments. Not quite sure I understand what CGI is. I did use a CPL and a Graduated Neutral Density with a slight tweek in NIK Viveza, thats all.

CGI = Computer Generated Imagery

To my eye the sky looks like it was manipulated to the point it no longer looks real...I think it's the dark edges in the clouds that really makes it look that way to me. The structure looks over done. Again..just one man's opinion!

I just want to thank you for usingthe word "voila " in the right context. Love the shot also.
