It’s about time Soundgarden (and dare I say it “grunge”) made their comeback.

Maybe it’s me wishing for a era that has been or maybe it’s the something else entirely, but a lot of bands doing the rounds these days don’t have that “back-of-the-neck-hair-raising” capability like when hearing Slaves & Bulldozers or Mind Riot for the first time.

My body was tingling and eyes were filling with a tear of happiness when Soundgarden took the main stage.

It really was a sound that everyone needs to hear.

Maybe he was having an off night or a sketchy venue? The sound at the BDO for Soundgarden was spot on the money.

Grunge wont make a comeback. But to me, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam are 2 of the bands that should remain relevant in the music scene. They were part of the elite from that era and were rock bands before grunge bands.

Good set. I like number 8 on your web site the best.

My thoughts are it's not far away for a comeback. All trends make their swing around at some point. And I will be there with arms open when it does!

venue was basically a concrete parking lot with a stage.....

hearing "beyond the wheel"...holy ****.

i have seen them....

w/ sylvia juncosa
w/swervedriver/monster magnet
w/faith no more/voivod
w/danzig
lollapalooza
w/eleven

even though it wasn't the best sounding....it was by far my favorite show.

No kidding. Although my dream line-up would be Soundgarden and Pearl Jam and they also sing some Temple of the Dog and then add Alice in Chains.

Lol. That would be nice but I'd be willing to pay big bucks for a ticket to see those three bands.

Nice shots. Is it just me or does Chris Cornell look like the Geico caveman in that first photo? :p

I'm glad to see Soundgarden got back together. It's too bad we'll never see a real AiC reunion :(

We're hearing now that Chris Cornell's death was a suicide?

Such a waste!! :( :(

i saw them two weeks ago in atlanta.....sounded excellent....looked painfully skinny.....or atleast skinnier than i remember him being.

even though i bagged on the sound of the philly show above....i think i will be putting that show in the top three.... nick cave (i lump all the cave shows together)....tom waits....soundgarden...hearing him do beyond the wheel live was a genuine holy **** moment.

not drowning...just waving.

Lucky you got to see a recent show!

I think they were an incredible band and they will be sorely missed by a lot of people :(
