My first attempt at flash photography (obviously I mean conscious use of what I am doing rather than full auto mode). Suggestions?

You've achieved very nice even lighting.

Next, consider using a wider A:B ratio so you accentuate the shapes a little bit more.

Thank you! Considering the only light source was on the flash was on camera (580 on a 5dmII, diffused with an omni-bounce) I am glad it turned out this well.
