Do You Lift Weights Like A Girl?

Great job with the pics! I looked at the full set and looks like there were some (or close to) failed attempts, did you catch any of those?

Do the girls catch in a full squat? IMO that's the cool shot to get; right when you catch in a full squat, legs load up, grit your teeth, and push.

some of those shots look like reverse curls which are no bueno. There is nothing reverse curl about a clean, would have really liked to see the bar on the shoulders and high elbows. I dunno, maybe I'm trying to be too technically correct, but the majority of the shots look like they're just as the girls are dropping under the bar - relatively strange arm position, floating bar, etc...

Maybe it's just me, but these shots taken by themselves highlight the millisecond when poor form is revealed. since a still image has to stand alone - not knowing what came before or comes next - you want to get the shot when her form is perfect. Get a pic on the pull when her feet are off the ground, top of the pull with high elbows, at the catch with high elbows and loaded up quads, or even the victory shot when she's standing fully upright.

From the pics I assume they're doing power cleans. I was looking for the catch in the squat position too! And I agree with everything else you said.
