Had a chance to shoot a sporting event for the first time. It was a lacrosse game outdoors at night. 70-200 mm f/4 L non IS, shot at 320, f/4, ISO 4000 for the first two, and 250, f/4, ISO 4000 for the third. Thanks for looking.

These dont look to bad but I would suspect that a tighter crop may reveal motion blur at that SS. If your looking for cc IMHO they should be croped a bit tighter and Im anal about aspect ratios. Also faces would do these some good also. For a first go these are not bad however. Keep shooting and posting.
If you werent looking for cc, I appologize.

No, I appreciate the cc, thanks very much. I was trying to shoot at a higher speed, but the light wasn't very good, and I didn't want to shoot at 6400 ISO, so when I was trying to shoot at say, 500 to 800, I was pretty underexposed. I could try and boost the exposure in PS later, but I wasn't sure how well that would work. I don't have long enough lenses that go below f/4, so I was unable to shoot wider open. Thanks again for taking the time to offer some feedback and guidance.

Yeah, I keep reading how the 7D is so bad at high ISO's, but, I agree, doesn't look so bad, although I'm sure if we wanted to examine 100% crops we could find some faults....

Yes. I have the 7D, and it does not do well with high ISO. I'm waiting to see what the reviews are with the 5DIII. May upgrade.

Yes, the 5D III sure seems to be an attractive camera. I'm looking forward to the reviews also.
