Looking for a collapsible backdrop for my home studio, I really wanted one with train so I can shoot full body portraits, I found one on b&h, but it is kind of pricy $250. Another one that I am looking at is the 5X7 collapsible backdrop that made by impact, it is like $70 dollars, double sided blk/wht .Any input guys? Any pictures of your own home studio with these kind of backdrop?

I have limited space and also like the portability of collapsible backgrounds. So that's primarily what I use. I use the Lastolite HiLite for all-white or solid color backgrounds (with gels on the lights), and I have collapsible backgrounds from Bolero, Lastolite, and Denny Mfg. The Lasolite 6'x7' with trains are pretty pricey but good quality. The ones I have from Denny Mfg are also expensive, but you kind of get what you pay for with these. The Bolero versions are less expensive and definitely of lower quality...but in a pinch, they're fine. If you're going to do a lot of full-body portrait work, you might consider something else like white seamless...or a collapsible background with no train and something less expensive for the floor (white tile board, fabric from a local fabric store, etc.).

Savage makes some great collapsible backgrounds. I have 3 of the 6x7 (appx) ones. They sell for about $150 but are reversible.
