It has been quite a while since I have posted on this forum. I don't think I can honestly blame it on anything other than just being lazy. I should probably get my act together and become active here again.

The Red-bellied Woodpecker is really quite a beautiful bird and I thoroughly enjoyed my first opportunity to photograph this lady.

All images captured with 1D Mark IV and 70-300L IS.

They look great on my screen Harv and that second one would take my pick for favorite.

Great shots Harvey , I see you havent lost your "Bird Skills". I also love getting images of this bird it really photographs well.

Very nice Harv. Red-bellies are exceptionally photogenic birds and you have done well by them. I've missed seeing your posts here. Thought maybe you were off at Mosport shooting races but then it is (was?) winter. ;-)a
