Lightroom 3... and a preset from Matt Kloskowski, I can't take any of the credit for the post processing, its a stunning preset he has created!

I have to say I like it in that shot, to a degree. It looks eyecatching and my first thought was "that's cool", but I don't like the way it has removed almost everything but the reds, so the green grass has gone grey etc. It looks too much like colour popping to me, which is generally regarded as being pretty gimmicky these days.

That's just my preference though, it's all down to personal taste.

Yes it's really a '300' look effect, designed to make your images honour the cinematography of the film....

I agree colour picking isnt for everyone and can be overused, but picking out those colours here really helps to frame the action I think. Your eye is drawn more to the centre of the image once the greens are omitted.

But in essence that is the "300" look...

looks great!!! I'd tone down the red just a tad though

looks fantastic, but what was the final score
