Which is better the crop or the un-cropped? At first I thought the old tree stumps helped framed the shot, now I'm not so sure.

I go for the cropped image...the pylons are a bit distracting! Nice job!

Prefer the cropped version. Actually it might be a good idea to remove as much of the foreground as possible.

cropped if anything, but i think it has bad composition in general. the boat is too far on the right, heading out to the right and leaves the viewers focus hanging.

I would have shot wider.


There are no rules for a good photograph and there are no excuses for a bad one.
