Saw this peregrine falcon, at the gas station this morning hunting pigions. I was able to pull into the parking lot and get 1 burst of 5 shots before it disapeared. This one being the best.

Good grab, I saw my first one this weekend eating something on top a power pole in Los Olivos.


7D / 70-200 F4L IS / 400 5.6L / 50mm 1.8 / 18-55 Kit / CS5 plus other software.

Thanks All. Tom at the Shell station at Decatur and Rancho. I have seen them there once or twice before. Once while we talking on the phone. Today was the only real chance to photograph them.

That's a pretty nice image for a "panic" photo. Glad you were quick to react.
Love the wing angle denoting speed; and I wish they'd come around my area as all the bridges have pigeons on `em now.
