Here's my first serious effort with a 5Dc, using a 35L - "Lost Koo":

^^ smart and very practical move.

Stacking a 300 F4L IS + 1.4xII + 20mm tube and shot handheld...turned out quite alright.

Yeah, just going to miss the LV and MA! But if in fact a 5Dx rumor is true I figured I will just downgrade, wait until it comes out and then get it instead of waiting for my 5D2 to keep lowering in price.

So I received my 5D this week, which I bought second hand.

Here is how it arrived:

if my 5d turned up looking like that i don't know what i'd think lol. was it all bubble wrap inside or what?

that figure in the bottom shot looks crazy...like a caracature of a highland/shetland cow but i like it :)

It was basically layered plastic bags with camera bits and those sealed air pockets in them, wrapped in parcel tape! Like some sort of Canony cocoon. Seemed to do the job though as the camera works fine.

He IS crazy. He said he's glad you like his photo because now he doesn't have to hurt you

Well, just sold my 5D so will be moving along from here. It surely is a great camera and will miss it for its simplicity and excellent photos it took.

Best of luck to you guys and see you soon!
