It's funny how there's so much talk about diffraction on newer high pixel density cameras these days. One of the many nice things about shooting with the 5D Classic is that we don't have to worry about stopping down to f/16.

Feb 08, 2015 23:38 | #8346 Not a chance lol. I was considering getting a 5D Mark iii but changed my mind. I'm going back in time and getting more and more old school. My next piece of kit will probably be a Mamiya RB67 haha, plus more m4/3 stuff for my E-M10 and a Fuji X100T. Perry | www.perryge.com

Feb 09, 2015 17:54 | #8350 WhyFi wrote in post #17423334 I'll be going forward to go back, if that makes sense. A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, you were one of the guys that turned me on to adapted lenses. Continuing with that, I'll be picking up a FF Sony mirrorless sooner or later just to have a wider gamut of lenes available to me. What remains to be seen is whether or not I'll keep the ol' 5D. I'll probably keep them around side by side for a while, and see if it's a body that I frequently come back to. Makes total sense! One of the reasons I love the E-M10 is because adapted lenses work like a charm on it with magnification and focus peaking. Changed my mind about the 5Diii for a similar reason, because you can't change the focus screen for using adapted lenses like you can on the 5D classic. Perry | www.perryge.com
