Broke out my 5Dc at my granddaughters birthday party today. She wasn't a very cooperative model and we had a disagreement over whether she still needs the binky or not. I lost, not one single picture without it.

Also used my 5D's on an engagement session last Saturday. They did great as always, but struggled a little as the light fell and we went further down a trail.

This is my first engagement session, but I have done plenty of other family type portraits. I need to work on my posing to offer some more variety, but they were super happy with these :).

The fix is free, along with shipping. Better to fix it before it fails. If or when it would fail will be a precisely the worst time..ha!
Plus I bought it used so it needed a cleaning and shutter count, also included.

my 5d classic come back from service... working even better. Canon service center clean af sensors and re-adjusted whole thing.
And new mirror mechanizm of course... Works great :)

Most 5Ds dont need the fix. The problem was limited to the Initial production run. The myth that all 5Ds need the mirror fix has blossomed outt of comtrol.
