Birds in flight with a wide-angle, manual focus? All you need is some french fries and ferry ride...  :p

Thanks! MF, but zone focused, really. I just had it stopped down to f/8 or so and had it set by the focus scale, aiming for reasonable sharpness between about 2 feet and 10 feet.

Spotted on a morning dog walk while visiting the in-laws, the water in a birdbath took on a cool crystalline structure when the temp dipped below freezing overnight.

I like this lens,very,very sharp! Use it primarily for landscape,less for portrait and "macro" :)
